Nicki Minaj Officially An American Idol Judge [PHOTO]

Nicki Minaj is officially an American Idol judge. The YMCMB Barbie will be sharing judging duties with Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson and Keith Urban.

Idol host Ryan Seacrest revealed the news by sharing a photo (see below) on Instagram today (September 16th) with the following message:

“It’s official, your new #IdolJudges are @MariahCarey, @NickiMinaj, @KeithUrban& @Yo_RandyJackson!” In the picture, taken at a dinner last night, a blonde haired Minaj is in the middle, flanked by Carey, Seacrest and Jackon on the left.

It appears that any issues with Minaj’s deal with Pepsi, the main competitor of American Idol sponsor Coca-Cola, have been worked out as she reportedly signed her contract with Idol in the last couple of days. The reality talent show’s prodcuers got their wish of having Carey and Minaj on the same panel with the former reportedly furious at the latter’s selection, which may lead to some drama, and must see television.
