In the NBC series Shades of Blue Jennifer Lopez plays a charismatic single mother and a resourceful detective who fights crime while hiding the dirty they leave behind in the process. She works alongside Emmy Award winning actor Ray Liotta, whose character often pushes the line between good and evil. The cast also includes Drea de Matteo (“Sopranos,” “Sons of Anarchy”), Dayo Okeniyi (“Terminator: Genisys,” “Hunger Games”), Vincent Laresca (“The Aviator,” “Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift”), Hampton Fluker (“Aquarius,” “The Blind Side”) and Sarah Jeffery (“Rogue,” “Wayward Pines”). Santino Fontana (“Frozen,” “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”) is a recurring guest star.
In the interview Jennifer Lopez reveals that she never allowed to be disrespected and never allowed people in power to walk all over her. It was her goal to take control of her career by any means necessary.
