Since the production for Zack Snyder's Justice League film began shooting in April, there has been much speculation about the plot and details, but a recent press visit to the London set has revealed much about the upcoming film -- and things seems promising to say the least. Due to the high volume of characters and plotlines to include into this one movie, Warner Bros. initially stated this would be a two-part film, but producer Deborah Snyder has since confirmed that this would be a single film, of course leaving room for sequels. With an already star-studded cast comprised of Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher, Willem Dafoe has since joined the cast as an Atlantean named Vulko. Check out the official synopsis as well as more details from the film below.
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
