Judge To Rule on Tom Brady’s Case This Week

Thomas Edward Patrick "TomBrady, Jr., a.k.a Tom Terrific, is an American football quarterback for the New England Patriots of the National Football League. He is considered among the greatest quarterbacks of all time.

On May 6, 2015, the NFL published a 243-page report regarding the deflation of footballs used in the AFC Championship game. The report concluded that, more likely than not, Brady was at least generally aware of the intentional deflation. Bray, was suspended for four games by the NFL for his involvement based on "substantial and credible evidence" that he knew Patriot employees were deflating footballs and that he failed to cooperate with investigators.

The NFL wants Brady to accept the blame for his role in the use of deflated footballs used in the A.F.C. Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts in January, but Brady insists that he has done nothing wrong and is being penalized capriciously.

A federal judge will rule this week on whether to lift or uphold Tom Brady's four-game suspension by the NFL after Brady and the league failed to reach an agreement to their seven-month standoff. If the judge lifts the suspension, Brady will have time to prepare for his team's season opener on September 10, which is also the opening game of the NFL season. The Patriots, who won the Super Bowl last season, will host the Pittsburgh Steelers.
